hello! We are Scott & Rachel
Novice homesteaders
We are two people who are thankful for the grace of having 2nd chances, and realize how every day is an opportunity to honor that truth. We want to share what we have learned, and continue to learn, with others who share the same passion of homesteading – right where they are!
Scott is the designated “farm-hand”, maintenance guru/handy-man, researcher of all things, and an incredible chef (aka the guy who can turn leftovers into magic). Rachel is the “farm-hand assistant”, behind the scenes photographer/videographer, sous-chef, and organizer of all the homestead ventures.
We both enjoy seeing the potential in something others might not. We believe we have only begun to watch our dreams unfold and deem it a honor to have you join us in the journey!

- We totally enjoy a good hamburger and fries over fancy meals any day!
- Sitting outside, enjoying a nice sunset with a bonfire in front of us, would be our date night go-to.
- Scott is a trained professional chef and Rachel reaps ALL the benefits!
- We both have been given second chances in many areas and are SO thankful for them!
- Our dogs – Penelope & Sadie – rule our homestead, really. It’s their world and we are just a part of it.
